Where basically everyone loves the Camry and a good bit of us don’t like the Miata. Truly bizzaro-Jalopnik.

And yes, I like the Camry. And I don’t really like the Miata. I’m part of the problem.

Ironically I don’t like the Camry that much... not that I think they’re the worst car ever, its just Im not the biggest fan.

I mean, I’d take an Optima, Sonata, or like an Accord over a Camry. But I can appreciate the appeal. It’s reliable, looks good, it’s relatively comfy, and it’s pretty cheap too. I wouldn’t complain if I had to buy one.

As an aside, I carpool every other day with a colleague who drives a V6 Camry, which means that every other day is couch on wheels day. I like it.

If front wheel drive didn’t bother me so much to drive (i dont hate it just because its fwd, i just dont like the feel) it would be a great car.

Oh heck yeah. I like driving our RX400h (its all wheel drive) but not my fiances RX350 (which is quite a bit faster). I imagine the camry would be the same. Plus a 280 something horsepower AWD car is what Jalops love no matter what its called.

I don’t have an opinion on the Camry but I know someone said the new V6 model is nice to drive.

I do like this generation though. Double rear wiper as well because why not.

And the Miata did an excellent job at reviving the classic British sports cars. It saved an entire catergory of cars and enthusiasts while still keeping its spirit to this day. So it sort of deserves its reputation.

Shame it’s a little too cramped for me to sit comfortably though.
